This has been a great week! On Monday, the teachers analyzed the weaknesses of their classes using both the Scott Foresman weekly tests and the ITBS tests. The teachers analyzed whether the students understood the skill being taught with the reading portion of the day. In the afternoon, they received reading instruction from a specialist. While I have watched teaching this week, I've seen teachers really trying new methods to allow the students to be more engaged in their learning.
I've included some picture from the construction. These are the precast forms in front of the building. There is usually a crane in front of the building pulling the precast segments up. This weekend they will finish the part of the building closest to the front of the building
This the the flooring for the new addition. This is where the 5th graders will be housed next year. The addition will be very similar towhat the Middle School classrooms look like for the students.
