Today, I get to spend alot of time with the kids at Lakewood. I have a PBS reward lunch. Basically the kids spend 50 of their Caught Being Good's to have lunch with me. It really cracks me up that my time is worth that much to them, but I've come to the conclusion that it is mostly about the prizes that I give them and the popcorn! After that Mr. Oleson and I will treat Mr. Hughes class to an ice cream party from PTO Fun Night. That money raised really gives the Lakewood kids the extra that other schools can't afford to have in their budget. The PTO representatives will be presenting a check to Mrs. Schmidt, school board president, for the playground equipment.
I'm trying to keep you in the loop about the last three days of school. I want to encourage you to please call Janet in the office, if you will need some help with transportation to the Fellowship Christian Church. I will be posting the Hershey Track Meet order of events, but I'm hesitant to put the time down because each year we run either ahead or behind in schedule. I've had some questions about the pool. It is not mandatory to swim for the kids. This is just an option. Both the concesssion stand at the pool and the track meet with be open for the kids. This is purely optional.
Today, I'm attaching a picture of what the hallways look like going into the gym. Kinda Crazy!
