As you look into the area in which used to be the main office, nurse's office and the art room, it is an empty room. When I talked to Matt, the superintendent of the project, he gave me the indication that they are going to start building within that area. I'm still amazed how quickly the crew can tear down walls. Hopefully they can put them up just as quickly.
The 5th graders have completed their May Term. I think that it was a success. We need to continue to work on transitions and organization for them. They are getting ready for their Iowa History Plays this week. You are welcome to watch your child participate, but if you come to watch, please park in the designated area of staff parking.
The color committee is busy presenting the colors to the staff. I think you will like that each wing will be designated a certain color for identification. There will be purple lockers in the new wing. The colors have excitement to them, yet are not distracting.
