Everything is "fast and furious" at Lakewood! Classrooms are starting to empty out and walls are clear. Teachers are working like crazy at night to make sure that when they leave on Friday, there is nothing left. I can't believe how resiliant the kids have been to this whole process. As I write, the computers are being taken from the rooms. They are nervous about the dust that will be around the machines.
This week, the drainage pipe was put in on the south side of the building. The detention pond has been formed and this should really help the drainage in this area. The electricians are working on the duct work and the sod should be done if it would ever stop raining.
Next week might be a challenge because of the forecast. I'm now working on "Plan C" in case we have three rainy days in a row. I will share the details as I figure them out. If you need help with transportation, please let the office know. I will be meeting with Mr. Stoner tomorrow.
