If you haven't notice there is "organized chaos" at Lakewood with the construction. It is so exciting because of the progress of the crew. There is constant noise but I've been amazed how both the student body and staff has reacted! I haven't seen any disruption to the learning and it is really fun. As you know, the office area has changed. Janet, Julie and Shawna have been working from the end of the building. Once again, it has been a successful transition. The teachers are starting to pack up their rooms and I put communication to the website about the last three days of school.
I'm going to try this "blogging" stuff to let parents know information daily about what is going on at Lakewood. Hopefully you will like it and it will keep everyone informed. By the way, the PTO will pitch in money to make the new playground a reality for the fall of next year!
